We’ve been together for 13 years and married for 6! We are high school sweethearts that met in band class. Through many laughs, road trip adventures, recipe creations, and shared memories with our family and friends, we’ve been inseparable! We are thrilled to now grow our family through adoption and share our passion for life with our child.
About Us
After two years of marriage, we began talking about growing our family and we were both drawn to adoption. Adoption has been on Whitney’s heart since she was 10 years old, and Collin knows firsthand the joy of adoption as it is part of his family. Four years ago, we had the privilege of fostering a sweet two-year-old boy in our home and knew at that moment that we were meant to adopt one day. We enjoy cooking and grilling new recipes together, doing house renovations, and spending time with one another, be it at home or out on a hike in nature. We look forward to soaking up the sunshine outdoors, watching movies on the weekends, and creating many sweet memories with our future child!
About Collin
Whitney says: Collin is an absolute gem. His heart for others is solid gold and he loves wholeheartedly. He makes sure that I always feel safe, loved, and happy. Of course, anyone that’s been around him knows that they won’t leave without laughing way too hard, due to his fun personality! Collin makes everyone feel accepted and comfortable.
He’s a hard worker at a large chemical plant in town, and he is also extremely family oriented. You can find him grilling, golfing, hunting, staying active outdoors, and playing with our dogs.
Collin looks forward to tucking in our child at night, telling everyone how proud he is of her/him, and being the most involved dad he can be! Collin will be the absolute best father to our child!
About Whitney
Collin says: Whitney always makes everyone laugh, and she has a bright glow of happiness that anyone can see from a mile away. She is beautiful both inside and out. She cares for others deeply and is truly dedicated to family.
As a social worker at a nonprofit working with youth, she is constantly going out of her way to help others and finish everything she is tasked with. She has the most dedicated work ethic of anyone I know. Whitney loves to cook, shop with her best friend, do projects around the house and be with family.
I know Whitney will be a phenomenal mother. She looks forward to holding our baby, singing and praying over him/her before sleep, and teaching him/her how to say their first words!
Family and Friends
Our family and friends are our foundation! We are blessed with a big family and wonderful, solid friends that are extremely loving, supportive, and encouraging. Everyone is so excited for us to adopt! Whether it be holidays spent together, traveling in and outside of Texas, sitting on a porch outside together talking, or playing fun games- our family and friends are always a source of laughter and happiness! We love spending time with our parents every week and chatting with them on the phone. Lucky for us, our parents all live within 15 miles of our house and our best friends live right down the street!
Our Home in Texas
We live in a cozy 3-bedroom farmhouse-style home nestled in a small, safe, and quiet community. We love having family and friends over for cooking in our open-style kitchen and games in our living room. We have a great sized, fenced-in backyard that allows for ample room to play and sit on the deck by the fire pit to roast marshmallows! Nearby, we have wonderful parks, walking trails, and fishing holes. A few miles into the city, we have a fun bowling alley, skating rink, movie theatre, and golf course that we can’t wait to take our child to in the future!
Our Forever Promise
We forever promise to love your child unconditionally and wholeheartedly. We will raise them to know their worth and value in Christ and in the world. We will support him/her 100% in their dreams and goals, provide them with the best education, be there every step of the way (especially when life gets tough and they need someone to talk to), be present no matter what, always meet their needs, and always respect your level of openness, whether it be yearly visits or pictures and updates on how he/she is progressing and growing!

Of course, we also enjoy our back yard deck either roasting marshmallows, grilling steaks or sitting under the stars at night. We also enjoy watching Netflix and Hulu tv series together and have made Friday nights a tradition eating from our local pizza restaurant and watching movies! | |
| Why Open Adoption? | We both feel through open adoption, we are able to connect with the birth parent(s) and get to know them at a deeper level. We are very excited for the opportunity to share pictures and updates of our baby growing with our future birth parent(s)! Additionally, we are happy for the chance to have yearly visits with our birth parent(s), if the opportunity is presented. We plan to have open ongoing conversations with our child as he/she grows about their birth parent(s). Open adoption plays such a vital role in our adoption journey! | |
| Our Dogs | Our family includes us and our two precious dogs! Hunter is our oldest who loves everyone that comes through our doors, and Jax is our lap dog that only ever wants to snuggle and cuddle!
